Rotary Honors Three as October Students of the Month

 
The Rotary Club of Everett on October 17, 2023 honored three local high school students as Rotary Students of the Month.
Each month during the school year the club recognizes outstanding high school students in the city of Everett for their accomplishments and their promise.
 

Student of the Month from Sequoia High is Addie Lockeman, a highly respected student with a can-do attitude and a personality that strives for excellence. She is involved in Sustainability Club and plans to attend EvCC next fall, then transfer to Western Washington University for a degree in marine coastal science. Addie has pushed through rigorous schedules to catch up on credits and graduate on time. A teacher said “Addie is a standout leader who is kind, observant, and inclusive. She has flourished both in her self-confidence and her academic excellence.” 

Everett High Student of the Month is Lily Danielson. Lily is a bright and humble superstar senior. With a cumulative 3.7 GPA, she is curious, thoughtful, inclusive, reflective, and motivated, challenging herself in numerous AP classes. Under her leadership, Everett High’s social media channel, The Beak News, recognizes ALL groups of students. Lily is also a tech genius who works on the school’s videos, sound, slide shows and photography for all major events. Lily has many skills, but her greatest is how selflessly she uses her talents to support those around her. 

Cascade High Student of the Month is Lily Carrier, a scholar, athlete and philanthropist. She has passed every AP test she tried and maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA with this challenging workload. She is a four year varsity cheerleader who helped lead the team to a National Championship in Sideline Performance and was named this
