ROTARY CLUB OF EVERETT
MEETING:
President Kelli Thode led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and into her 25th meeting
of the year and our 5,625th meeting of the Rotary Club of Everett.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
The excitement of the Everett Choir performing today felt by everyone as they enjoyed pizza and fellowship!
INTRODUCION OF VISITING ROTARIANS AND GUESTS:
JJ Frank, YMCA of Snohomish County – Everett was our visiting Rotarian from the Marysville Rotary Club.
Ingrid, an Everett substitute teacher, joined us today to listen to the Everett HS Choir.
Janice Ellis introduced Neha Kaur who was visiting our club today.

Daniel Nielsen, former exchange student – 2012/2013 was back in Everett for the holidays.
Janice Ellis introduced our exchange student from Japan, Hakumi Matsumoto.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
President Kelli made the following announcements:
- The Rotary Club Coffee morning is the 2nd Wednesday every month. In December, the coffee morning was at Kel’s Café.
- Roy Yates Memorial is Sunday, December 21st at 2 pm.
- Blood Drive is Monday, December 22nd from 10 – 3 at the Everett Elks Club.
- The Strategic Planning Committee will be meeting in January 2026. Please attend and RSVP.
- The District 5050 Conference is May 1-3, 2026.

President Kelli presented the director of the Carl Gipson Center with a donation check for the first half of the year.
HAPPY DOLLARS AND BIRTHDAY BUCKS:
Henry Janicke was grateful for no significant flood damage on his property.
Daniel Nielsen was happy to be back for a visit.
Janice Ellis was happy to see Daniel. She has been helping the Red Cross with the Snohomish Flooding and Hakumi and her volunteered at Operation Elf – Dawson Place.
John Olson was happy to be here to listen to the Everett High School Choir sing.
JJ Frank was happy to work with many wonderful people within the community.
RAFFLE:
No raffle. Please consider donating items for the raffle.
PROGRAM: Everett High School Choir

The Everett High School Choir performed several Christmas songs. The songs they sang are:
- “We need a little Christmas for me”
- Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”
- “White Christmas”
- Choirs Choice – “Carol of Bells”
- Former Director Chris Hansen’s song – “My True Love….first day….”
President Kelli thanked the Everett High School Choir for performing. There is no Rotary meeting December 23rd and December 30th.
