Meeting of March 24, 2020 #36 (5341)/ #2 Virtual Meeting. President Steve Miller opened the meeting leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
Paul Stoot provided the Thought of the Day.

  • Steve MillerAnna Marie Laurence for the loss of her brother Peter Jackson.
  • Kelli Thode – Update on checking in on our Rotarians
  • Steve Miller – Support small businesses locally including our own Vintage Café & Bargreen’s Coffee.

PROGRAM
 
“Elections in Presidential Year”
 
Our own Garth Fell presented.
Garth’s covered the following facts:
  • His office conducts 4 elections per year.
  • 11 fulltime staff with 80 seasonal employees
  • $4 million budget.
  • Presidential Election – 11 fulltime employees and 150 seasonal employees
  • Seasonal employees are primarily retirees.
  • Challenge this year is keeping staff 6 feet apart.  Historically 2 staff members sit at the same table.
CONCLUSION
President Steve thanked everyone for attending the Virtual Rotary Club of Everett meeting. He adjourned the meeting with Rotary Connects the World.
