Meeting of March 24, 2020 #36 (5341)/ #2 Virtual Meeting. President Steve Miller opened the meeting leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Paul Stoot provided the Thought of the Day.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Steve Miller – Anna Marie Laurence for the loss of her brother Peter Jackson.
- Kelli Thode – Update on checking in on our Rotarians
- Steve Miller – Support small businesses locally including our own Vintage Café & Bargreen’s Coffee.
- Will McMahan – Membership Moment.
- Russ Kimball – Scholarship and Student of the Month updates.
- Garth Fell – Alice’s return to Japan and a thank you to Janice Ellis.

- Anna Marie Laurence – Sad dollars for the passing of her brother.
- Ed Peterson – for Anna Marie’s brother’s passing.
- Betsy Baker Bold – Father coming back from Arizona.
- Kelli Thode – Reminded that blood is needed so donate blood.

PROGRAM
“Elections in Presidential Year”
Our own Garth Fell presented.
Garth’s covered the following facts:
- His office conducts 4 elections per year.
- 11 fulltime staff with 80 seasonal employees
- $4 million budget.
- Presidential Election – 11 fulltime employees and 150 seasonal employees
- Seasonal employees are primarily retirees.
- Challenge this year is keeping staff 6 feet apart. Historically 2 staff members sit at the same table.
CONCLUSION
President Steve thanked everyone for attending the Virtual Rotary Club of Everett meeting. He adjourned the meeting with Rotary Connects the World.
