LEADING OFF
President Michael Kvistad rang the bell at 12:01pm, calling to order meeting #5554 of the Rotary Club of Everett, and meeting #4 of his presidency. He then led the club in the Pledge of Allegiance.
 
THOUGHT OF THE DAY
The Thought of the Day was a video of Bill Gates discussing polio eradication.

Ashley Bolden introduced her guest, Jeanine.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS
President Michael played a video of Victor Montalvo break dancing in the Olympic games.
 
GUESS WHO
Mark Valentine correctly guessed Brian Hollingshead after President Michael read clues to the membership.
 
HAPPY DOLLAR$
Janice Ellis had $200 for her son graduating from Western Washington University, as well as returning from a 2-week trip to Great Britain, and for hosting guests at her home.
 
Eric Anderson was $40 happy to be back in person.

Ashley Bolden ran today’s raffle.

PROGRAM
Ryan Willis introduced today’s speaker, Dr Janice Green, President & CEO of WBEC-Pacific. Janice was once a member of our club when she worked for Boeing. WBEC-Pacific is a powerful partner that provides introductions for women to supply chain solutions in WA, OR, Northern CA, ID, MT & AK. There are 1216 members with $9.1B in average revenue. 34% of their members are women of color. They have helped create 38000 jobs.

There is a rigorous certification process. Potential members must have unrestricted control of their business, have a 51% ownership stake in the business, and proof of female management.
 
Janice then entertained questions from the membership.
 
CLOSING
President Michael presented Janice with a thank you donation to Millenia Ministries of Snohomish County. He also thanked our guests for visiting and Janice Ellis for the double bell ringer!
