MEETING:
President Neil Angst led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and into our 46th meeting of the year and the 5,549th meeting of the Rotary Club of Everett.
 
THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
I did not catch the thought of the day.
 
INTRODUCTION OF VISITING ROTARIANS AND GUESTS:
No visiting Rotarians or guests.
 
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
VOA Food Bank sorting is June 20th from 2 pm – 4 pm.
 
Rotary After Hours is at the Courtyard by Marriott Everett on June 20th from 5:30 pm – 7 pm
 
Rotary Board meeting is June 28th at 7:30 am at Neil’s Office. All Rotarians are invited to attend the meeting.
 
Blood Drive is at the Everett Elks Club on June 28th
 
Changing of the Guard is July 2nd
 
HAPPY DOLLARS AND BIRTHDAY BUCKS: 
Betsy Baker-Bold gave happy dollars.
 
RAFFLE:
Winner number 1 – Steve Miller won the Pendleton Whiskey.
 
Winner number 2 – Will McMahan won Wine.
 
Winner number 3 – Walt Greenwood won Wine.
 
PROGRAM:  Pacific Brief Training Center
 
Ryan Willis introduced Ken Tetreault from Pacific Brief Therapy Center

Ken gave us an overview of the Pacific Brief Therapy Center and the work they do. He stated that they use researched and tested methods to recognize client strengths and focus on resolving those problems. They help couples and families with conflict, stress, feelings of depression, anxiety and pain relief. They teach health care professionals Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Brief Therapy. One topic Kenneth talked about was “how to get to sleep under tension”.
 
MEETING ADJOURNED:
President Neil thanked Kenneth for speaking to the members today. President Neil adjourned the meeting around 12:55 pm
