My electronic tablet is no more dependable than my right hand or my aging memory.  It quit on me and lost my log notes so the following is from memory (very sorry).

Thought of the Day was given by Steve Ellis. Apologies Steve, that was the first time it quit.

Program: “My Norway Experience” presented by Epsen Diamond introduced by Janis EllisEpsen gave a wonderful travel story of his year in Norway.  He started off with this long sentence in Norweigeon that made me start to panic that I was going to have to write the log in a foreign language!  Then he moved to English (to my relief) and told us about his host families, his schooling, learning to speak the language, his travels and even a little politics.  He’s quite bright and entertaining. He had a lot to say and talked fast so you should have been there to hear the rest of it. This trip was a long-time dream of his so he was very appreciative and thanked Rotary for the experience.

President Amy presented Tom Rainville with her Inspiration Award for his 46 years of service to Rotary including District service and bringing fun and support to everyone.  She thanked Epsen,  visitors, guests and contributors and reminded us to be an inspiration to the world.
