A Kiss for Luck

Ken Blaisdell is the popular author of six published novels, with four more in various stages of production from proof-reading, to editing, to final layout and cover design.

Following numerous short stories, and a novella, Ken took on his first novel in 2001, with the political thriller, The Weaver Conspiracy, which follows the tangled investigation into the failed assassination attempt on fictional President Richard McClure.

In all of his fiction, Ken is fanatical about accuracy, often spending hours researching even minute details so that the spell of the story is never broken, and the reader never catches the line between reality and fiction.

Enhancing the realism of his carefully crafted plots, Ken is a writer who is able to put dialogue to excellent use to develop both his characters and the story, in true show me; don't tell me style that puts his readers right in the middle of the scenes.

Ken has had interviews and reviews featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, and on radio; has had his books reviewed as far away as Russia, France, and the UK; and thoroughly enjoys attending book club meetings, where he can talk about his stories, one-on-one, with his readers. Ken's fourth book, A Kiss For Luck! is an historical novel set during World War II. He will be sharing a presentation about the in-depth research that he did to gather accurate and period-correct background material to set the stage on which the story plays out. (www.a-kiss-for-luck.com)
