Everett Museum of History

Barb George (Director) and Rebecca Monaghan (Curator) will be sharing about the Everett Museum of History.  Club President, Michael Kvistad, will be hosting a special Everett History TRIVIA.

Learning more about the Everett Museum of History will rally us for our upcoming ROTARY EPIC DAY OF SERVICE which will be on Sat, May 17th, 9am-12pm.   We will be donating our time to the museum at their two locations: Van Valey House and the future site of the new museum in downtown Everett.  See calendar invite for more details and volunteer sign up!

@Van Valey House: landscaping, planting plants and flower boxes, applying beauty bark, trimming weeds, repairing the concrete driveway, and cleaning dusting throughout the building. (looking for 11-12 volunteers)

@Future site of the new museum in downtown Everett: organizing basement artifact boxes; woodworking including gluing, sealing, staining and putting together benches, etc.; and cleaning of hallways, bathrooms, etc. (looking for 15-20 volunteers)

All clubs in District 5050 will be doing community service projects on this day! 

We are looking forward to the opportunity to partner with Rotary Clubs of Everett, Everett- Port Gardner, S. Everett-Mukilteo, and Rotaract of Snohomish County on this local project!
