This Avenue of Service shall devise and carry into effect plans, which will guide and assist the members of this Club in discharging their responsibilities in matters relating to Club Service. The overall goal of this Avenue of Service is to effectively foster the successful administration of the Everett Rotary Club.

 

The following committees are under this Avenue of Service:

 

Program Committee

Responsible to prepare and arrange programs for regular and special meetings of the Club and design and balance these programs so that they illustrate the Avenues of Service.

 

Thought of the Day Committee

Responsible to recruit members to provide the thought of the day at the regular or special meetings of the Club. The Thought of the Day is a moment near the beginning of our meetings to recognize that we as a group are gathered together.

 

Club Bulletin  "The Log"

Responsible to publish a weekly Club bulletin - "The Log". This committee shall endeavor to stimulate interest and improve attendance of Club members, announce the program of the forthcoming meeting, report highlights of the previous meeting, promote fellowship, contribute to the Rotary education of all members, and report the news of the Club, of its members and of the worldwide Rotary program.

 

Roster Committee

Responsible for preparing and distributing the Club directory to the membership.

 

 Website Management

Responsible for maintaining the Club's website.

 

House Committee
 
Responsible for securing and maintaining a satisfactory meeting place for the Club luncheons and providing satisfactory service in connection therewith. They shall be in charge of the selling of luncheon tickets and settlement for same, see that the name badges are properly distributed before each meeting, maintain the speaker system, and be prepared to properly arrange the Club equipment necessary for the conduct of the meeting and returning same to its proper place following the meeting.

 

Sergeant-At-Arms Committee

Responsible to help maintain an orderly, dignified, and effective Rotary Club meeting by unobtrusively guiding its general conduct. It shall also manage the Club's weekly raffle and collect fines and "Happy Bucks."
 
 

Resolutions Committee

Responsible for preparing and presenting to the Club appropriate Resolutions and Recognition.
 
 

Music Committee

 

It is the responsibility of this committee to arrange for proper music at the regular or special meetings of the Club.
