We were welcomed by Greeters Barb George & Roy Yates.
 
President Ed Petersen opened meeting leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Announcements:
Ed Petersen talked about the trip to the Dominican Republic and Janice Ellis’ accident. He read a statement from Janice about the trip and Greg Lineberry’s work on it. Ed then called Janice and got her on the phone from the hospital in the Dominican Republic. Hugo & Greg also talked about the trip experience.
 
Judi Edwards on Committee Option forms are due next week. A lot of committees are full.  They are also looking for someone to chair the Interact Committee.
Amy Norman about the fellowship at her new office this Thursday the 13th.
Amy Norman about the High 5 Walkathon on April 22nd at Sequoia High School from 10 to 12.
Henry Newton about Charter Day on May 2nd at 5:30 @ the corner of Hewitt & Wetmore. (No regular lunch meeting that day)

AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. AVID’s mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
WICOR is the pillar of AVID. WICOR, which incorporates teaching/learning methodologies in the following critical areas: Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading to learn. 3 out of 4 AVID students get accepted to college.
