PROGRAM
“Long Term Care” presented by Neil Angst introduced by Randy Hansen, PP
Neil started off with a joke, then talked about the serious issue of long-term care. He talked about 70% of us will face the issues, they will be both financial and emotional and we’ll have to decide how we’re going to fund it. Options include help from your family at $10,000 to $12,000 a month, Medicaid, assets, or insurance. Long term care insurance comes with two options—by itself or with life insurance. Neil suggested that you ask a lot of questions and start by asking your family some of the questions. Neil answered a few questions and Ed Rubatino suggested his solution was to live forever. (Everybody was funny today.)
CONCLUSION
President Steve thanked everyone and wished all a Happy Thanksgiving. And adjourned the meeting. Rotary Connects the World.
