President Amy Norman opened the 33rd meeting of her term with the Pledge of Allegiance.
All remained standing for PP Tom Koenig’s Thought of the Day which was about partnerships and simple rules to follow.

Announcements:
- Happy Hour Social: Brian Hollingshead reminded everyone that the happy hour will be at Courtyard by Marriott Everett, March 14th, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
- Fireside at Gail Larson’s – Sonya Kraski stated that there is room for 2 more people to join the Fireside event on Thursday, March 21st from 5 pm to 7 pm.
- District Conference (April 12-14), special for Saturday/Sunday only – President Amy Norman asked us to register for the conference. There are registration fees for Saturday or Sunday.
- Helen Jackson Scholarship: Howie Bargreen reported that a special dinner on June 10th , from 5 pm to 8 pm, at the Jackson Home will be hosted by Ann Marie Jackson. Cost is $500 per couple. Maximum number is 10 couples.
- Kiva MicroLoan: George Bowden talked about the Kiva MicroLoan. We can donate to www.kiva.org. password Rotary1225.
Happy Dollars/Birthday Bucks:
President Amy tried to hand out fines, however, Janice Ellis was not present.
Jeanne Willard was happy as she has been promoted to Assistant Superintendent starting in July 1st and the school district is searching for a Superintendent and seeking community’s feedback. Amy Norman had sad news as her daughter did not make the varsity softball team.
Steve Miller was amazed by his daughter as she is an unbelievable skier.
