Rotary Club of Everett
PRE- MEETING:
Our very first meeting at Hotel INDIGO was held in a cozy/comfortable conference room next to the JETTY Bar & Grill. There were 6 ZOOMERS and 29 in person attendees
who, from the sound of things, were enjoying the new space. The menu had 5 choices and it appeared more than half of the room had ordered lunch, which was served, just prior to
the Program. Next week we will meet within the JETTY Bar & Grill to try that space out.
MEETING:
We all had to look around the room to find the location of the flag and once we all did President Neil Angst led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and into our 44h meeting of the year and the 5,547th meeting of the Rotary Club of Everett.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
President Neil didn’t have a verbal Thought of the Day but I know in his head he was thinking this new space with a lively bunch of Rotarians, 5 menu choices for a served lunch, and the ZOOMER screen and microphones working that this move could turn out to be a good thing.
INTRODUCTION OF VISITING ROTARIANS AND GUESTS:
Sean George introduced Sean DeSherlia who is a small business payroll representative with Paychex.
Kari Quaas is leading the AVID Shopping Spree that will take place tonight and tomorrow at the Fred Meyer store off of 128th. She could use a couple of more volunteers for tomorrow night. Please contact Kari if you can help out.

President Neil told us that the Changing of the Guard will be held on July 2nd.
President Neil explained the proposed By Law change, which changes from the President Elect in charge of the nominating committee to the immediate Past President running the nominating committee. The Immediate Past President and the President Elect each are to appoint 3 Rotary members to the committee. A motion was made by Janice Ellis to accept the By Law change as presented. The motion was seconded and the was passed unanimously.

underserved individuals and families. The services they provide include comprehensive medical, dental, and mental health counseling. Many of their clients are immigrants and refugees, mainly adults as other established services have comprehensive care for children.
Their patients receive these services for free and to be able to do that they rely on over 400 volunteers who are Physicians, Nurses, Chiropractors, Dentists, Hygienists, Receptionists,
