Rotary Log 3.28.17
Rotary Log Everett Rotary Meeting - March 28, 2017 Greetings today provided by Clay Browse and Joe Gaffney.
Our meeting began with a special treat courtesy of the Everett High School Chorale, singing a selection from their production of “The Little Mermaid.”
Following their performance, President Ed formally opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. He then took a moment to recognize and thank Mike Holcomb and the House Committee for all they do.

The “Thought of the Day” was a poem from Oscar Romero, an archbishop from El Salvador.

Program
Amy Norman introduced Sean George who presented “Social Media and Rotary Networking.” With more than one billion Facebook users, it’s probably not going to go away.
The goals of today’s program were:
1. Brainstorm using Facebook
2. Learn Rotary social media networking
3. Understand the District 5050 Rotary Networking program.
This was an audience participation program with walk-around help provided by Amy Norman.
Topics included: - How to “Like” Rotary Club of Everett on Facebook online - How to “Like” Rotary Club of Everett on the Facebook Mobile App
- How to share pictures on the Rotary Club of Everett Facebook page - How to Use Rotary Networking Plus
- How to list your business on Rotary Networking Plus A good program.

President Ed reviewed meeting announcements and makeup opportunities, thanked our visitors and guests, and adjourned the meeting at precisely 1:12 PM.
