Everett Rotary Meeting – March 7, 2017

 

We were welcomed by Greeters Nick Hansen & Randy Hansen.

 

President Ed Petersen opened meeting leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Presidential Recollection: Tom Koenig shared his year as President 2011-2012.

Program "WSU in Everett” Paul Pitre was introduced by Tom Koenig. Paul started off the program recognizing the Cougs in the room. He talked about the 2 plus 2 access model WSU provides in Everett (2 years community college plus 2 years WSU). What it does is; 1) brings education to the community, 2) affordability model; and 3) efficiency model. Currently there 550 students at the Everett University Center of which 200 are enrolled with WSU. 50% of the WSU students come from Everett Community College.
