Everett Rotary Meeting – September 19, 2017

President Will McMahan opened the meeting leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Program: "Downtown Everett Update”

Sean Kelly introduced Andy Skotdal President of Commercial and Industrial Real Estate for Skotal Real Estate.

Andy's talk was focused on Everett Central Business District which consists of 450 parcels. His forecast for the Central Business District is no significant development for the next 5 years; slower organic growth due to the size of the city; not going to have massive retail; and multifamily is the bright spot and future development potential. Things needed to improve the Central Business District; improved parking; increase in residential units; and reduction in crime.
