President Steve Miller rang the bell at 12:00 noon to begin meeting #15 of his term and meeting #5321 of the Rotary Club of Everett.

“The State of Washington Beer”
Kari Petrasek introduced Eric Radovich, Executive Director of Washington State Beer Commission.
Eric provided the following interesting facts about the Washington Beer & Breweries:
- Washington State is the only state that has a beer commission.
- Today there are 415 breweries in Washington.
- Washington State has the second most breweries. Second only to California.
- 7,346 breweries in the United States.
- 30 breweries in Snohomish County.
- 75% of the US hops and 33% of the World hops are produced in the Yakima Valley.
