Meeting number 5544, President Neil’s meeting #41 was called to order by Vice President Kelli Thode in Neil’s absence. She led the membership in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Thought of the Day was delivered as a Will Guthrie song by Mark Valentine.

Anna Marie Laurence thanked Russ Kimball, Dr Ian Saltzman, John Olson emcee, Neil Angst, Sean George, Greg Lineberry, Kari Quaas and many others who helped on the scholarship awards.
Janis Ellis told us that a young person by the name of Tobias would be our new exchange student at end of August.
Raffle Drawing:
Officer Danny won the red wine, Greg Lineberry offered to take it home for him, Greg Lineberry won the next one but gave it up, Larry O’Donnell won the final prize. Members were encouraged to bring a bottle of wine and receive additional tickets for the raffle.
Program:
Jim Staniford introduced Officer Danny Rabelos from the Everett Police Dept. who told us enjoys our hockey games and has spent 25 years, recruiting people to law enforcement, He uses inspiration and good marketing techniques. He asks the community to help recruit, He seeks to change perspective to be more positive by getting people to know officers on a personal level.
Officer Danny was complimented on his investment he makes on our behalf. He discussed 29 positions open currently and the barriers to recruiting, uniform changes and was applauded for his service.
VP Kelli thanked everyone for their donations and adjourned the meeting.
